On Friday March 18th the SRVHS C. J. Shadow’s club held their first movie night awareness event at the Danville Theater. The club asked for a $2 donation and raised money for The Trevor Project.
The amount of people that showed up to the movie night was about 28 students, some students being club members and others that attended were from the CSF (California Scolorship Foundation) club. Chris from the Town of Danville Recreation Services helped Claire Tsukuda (12) and Jessica Ross (12) with booking the theater for this event. The Danville Recreation Services helps multiple schools in the local Danville area with things ranging from fundraisers and school club events to day activities for kids. The C.J. Shadow’s Club is the first club that has worked with the Danville Recreation Services from SRVHS and both were happy with the turn out and plan to work together on future events.
