- A million tapping knees that sound like a stampede as the teacher speaks
- We ignore everyone’s needs
- Pay attention and you’ll see
- A million different melodies yet every song sounds the same
- No one dances in the rain
- We’re too scared to make a change
- So much love exists within our range
- Yet we give none to ourselves
- We never ask for help
- We live in our own worlds
- We ignore our own needs
- We ignore what needs changing
- We ignore kind words we receive and embrace the mean
- We live in anxiety
- We are constantly spiraling
- Then we hear the teacher speak
- We’re brought back to reality
- And become again just a bunch of tapping knees
