New Year’s Eve 2014

 As much as sitting on the couch, eating Chinese food, and watching the New Year’s parties on TV is a calm, enjoyable way to spend the New Year’s; wouldn’t it be awesome to actually be in the parties?

 In the great city of San Francisco, the best place to see the fireworks and celebrate is Telegraph Hill and Court Tower. It’s a splendid walk and budget friendly. A great place to have a picnic with the family or just to watch the wonderful view of the fireworks.

    Also, the 43rd Annual KPFA Crafts Fair is happening at San Francisco Design Center and the tickets only cost ten dollars!

    Another event is the Bell Ringing at the Asian Art Museum; it’s appropaite for all ages. Takes place at 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The admission for adults cost $12, $8 for ages 13-17, and free for children under 12!

    At the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, the Melvins will be playing! This band have a significant influence on Nirvana and Soundgarden. The concert starts at 9 pm and costs only $40.

    Playing in Warfield, San Francisco are various punk-rock bands: NOFX, Dillinger Four, Teenage Bottlerocket, and The implants start playing at 9 pm with tickets costing only $30!

    In El Cerrito, there is an all night party at Playland! It’s $25 a ticket for ages 3 and up, it starts at 8 pm and ends at 12:30 am. There are many rooms for different activities, including a “quiet room” for those that are too tired from partying and drinking the sparkling cider that Playland will be providing.

    Now, if you live in the Danville area there are a few exciting events: David Savior will perform at the Blackhawk Auto Musuem.

In San Ramon, there’s Canyon View NYE (New Year’s Eve) 2014 party at 680 Bollinger Canyon Way. The prices for kids and dinner is forty dollars; without dinner is thirty-five. Prices for adults that get early bird tickets is sixty-five with dinner; without dinner is forty-five.
