In this class you will learn all of your heart’s and stomach’s desires to make delicious food, and much more!
The class operates similar to a restaurant kitchen, but with more fun. Besides making meals, sanitation is heavily practiced. Learn how you and others around you can stay safe in a kitchen environment. You never know when it could come in handy.
Appetizers, main courses, desserts, and side dishes will be made and eaten! And yes, this is one of the only classes that you are allowed
to eat in!
You will learn how to strengthen your culinary techniques as well as add new flavor to your academic schedule. With no homework and a friendly and sociable environment, enjoying this class is a piece of cake.
If you are a beginner/intermediate, Culinary Arts 1 is for you. If you’ve taken a full year of Culinary Arts 1 successfully, then Culinary Arts 2
is for you. In Culinary Arts 2, we will focus on international flavors as well as more advanced recipes. AND you will NOT have to write recipes!!
Either way, come on down and see what’s cooking in the kitchen!
