Freshmen describe excitements and anxieties about high school




Shilpa and Brandon: “What are you most excited for about high school?”
Mitchell: “I’m excited for theater because I’ve really never done drama as a main course. I’m also excited to meet new friends and see new teachers.”
Julia: “I’m excited for school events like homecoming and football games.”
Wyatt: “Meeting all these new people. […] I went to Stone Valley and a lot of Charlotte Wood people come here and I went to Montair and everyone from Montair went to Charlotte Wood so it’s just seeing all these new people again. It’s great.”
Shilpa and Brandon: “What are you most nervous for about high school?”
Mitchell: “I’m nervous about PE because I’m not sure if it’s going to be hard or not.”
Julia: “I’m nervous for finals at the end of the year because they count towards my grades and colleges will eventually see them.”
Wyatt: “I’m nervous about meeting all these new people too.”
