A home made for Christmas 

Is always warm

There’s music playing over the storm

There’s a beautiful tree and amazing decor

There are ornaments, popcorn and ribbon galore

It smells of pine needles and of cranberry

Everyone in this home always looks merry

The fridge is stocked with potatoes and stuffing

Completely prepared for the Christmas that’s coming

Presents flood the skirt underneath the tree

The kids sit watching a Christmas movie

Though the storm always lasts quite long

They’ve never had a Christmas go wrong

Cookies set out for Santa are gone the next morning

The presents exchanged are marvelous and stunning

Never have you seen a family so loving

The fireplace burns on this wonderful morning

The parents kiss under mistletoe, the kids start squirming 

The children go to sleep with full stomachs and hearts

They dream about the day, wishing never to depart

This home embraces Christmas is the very best way
